    LOL i know right??
    Iv’e always wondered that too!
    hahahaha
but i think plastic surgery is stupid no matter what

  • Carter Boy:

that is not what the body was intended for, im sure that God isn’t to fond of plastic surgery

  • Floid:

I don’t think imaginary beings think of much at all except whatever their creators desire for them to.

To the above poster, to at least be logically consistent you need to explain that If God was against plastic surgery then why he mandated circumcision for his children?

  • POA:

He doesn’t like things as hard as rocks.

  • kahtimizen:

it angers God to change his creation

  • spillthebeans:

god says to accept ourselves and to not be focused on the surface but the inside. Plastic surgery surely goes against this

  • Scuzzo:

    god doesn’t exist to care

  • coffee_pot12:

it is a wonderful medical procedure to repair burn victims, injuries, breast reduction for health reasons, etc.

to waste a DR time and education on boob jobs and the joan rivers reconstruction plan is just dumb….

  • psymistress:

I’ve often wondered this myself. My further question to this would be: Didn’t God create the men and women that perform the surgeries? If that is the case then how could He be against it? Or is that just another case of free will choices that practising Christians made where they repent and are still getting into Heaven?

  • christianman:

I always thought He considered it a form of vanity and self idolatry.

  • Mike K:

    Hello,

No comment since it did not exist in ancient times when the bible was put together. We can only surmise and say if we are not happy with our normal looks and alter his scheme for us, he may frown but on the other hand if it is to correct burns, mutilation or a life interfering anomaly like out of control tumours, then there is no problem.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  • Prometheus Unbound:

He has no problem with it. Jesus had alot of work done himself after that cross incident.

  • Question It All:

I don’t think He really cares much. We can do lots of things with our bodies. If I need to get strong and big I can lift weights and if I want endurance I can run and build my lung capacity. If I want a woman with big boobs I suppose I should marry one, but if I am already married and decide it’s time for some earmuffs, I guess it’s ok to ask my wife to have them augmented. Then the waffle iron would crack my skull and It would be a long time before I asked again….Like after I wake up from my coma.

  • Little Red Ridding Hood:

God created us in His Image and likeness.
If we need to get repair work done so that we can eat or drink to save our lives after a bad accident then, I would say that would be acceptable to God. as far as vanity is concerned the answer is NO.
    But we do have make-up=>}
